How to prepare for a 5K run...take it one step at a time. Walk until you can trot and trot until you can jog and jog until you can run. Of course there are a lot of steps and trots that you will need to take in order to build up your endurance to run a 5K, but take it one day at a time and enjoy yourself along the way.
